About Hands on Heritage NI
The Hands-On Heritage Project, is a 3 year project managed by Ulster Architectural Heritage and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Combining traditional heritage engagement and outreach, the project aims to introduce a new range of digital engagement technologies.
Currently in year two, The Hands-On Heritage Project is finalising the development of a range of tools to help you research, record and protect built heritage in your local area. Over the next few months we will be releasing a series of ten Heritage: How To? Guides, an Online Toolkit answering your heritage questions and a Recording & Reporting App where you can upload materials, which will be followed by an In Your Area Webpage, where survey submissions can be viewed by all.
A series of workshops, events and competitions will be held throughout the project. Keep up to date with the project by checking the Events and News section or by signing up to our newsletter below!
